Sakara House features four bedrooms which are either set around an internal courtyard or in the attached main house.
The house is built from stone and coral. It has 13 inch thick walls and is very well ventilated. It has exceptionally high ceilings with fans and cut and polish cement floors. All of this means that it is very cool and calm and as such doesn’t require a/c units.
Sakara House produces its own electricity with a 3.6 kW photovoltaic power plant on its roof. Hot water comes from a solar geyser and drinking water is filtered from the tap to avoid plastic bottles.
